The drive should work fine. Windows has all the drivers for these drives etc.

Whats the issue you are having with the drive?

    Here it is anyway

thanks gscott. i download the link you gave me for the driver, and it tell me that its only the utility for the sony ddu1615, but not the driver, the problem im haveing, is one of my two cd/dvd drives , wont play any cd/dvd, it asks me to put a cd in ,it dont show the cd drive in (my computer list)when i go into (device manager) the sony ddu1516 dvd/rom. has a red x over it , and when i click on it it says device enabled" when i click on it to enable it , it says windows is not able to enable this device" thanks again , ranger.

red x means disabed or hardware problem normally yellow exclamation mark is a driver issue maybe a duff dvd player as windows will configure most dvds without any extra drivers . Hope this helps m8

Did it just go like that by itself?.... did you mess about with bios settings?... or have you only just installed it?

What kind of setup are both drives on?

You may have disabled something in bios(like the channel its on)... or if youve just installed it the jumpers may be set wrong on the back of the drives
