    Email delivery

    Hi,

    My email comes from v*rgin to my Outlook Express. I've not really had any problems until recently.

    The delivery starts, and some messages get delivered, but it times out before all the mail is delivered and I get a failed message. Next time I try, it re-delivers everything it tried to before until it fails again.

    Anybody got any ideas?

    Try to increase your smtp timeout.

      Thanks snagga, tried that, I just have to wait longer for the failed message!!

        use virgin home page to access your email.

          1. Double check to make sure you have the correct pop3/smtp server - pop.ntlworld.com - smtp.ntlworld.com
          2. If virgin not your isp, but other isp smtp server.
          3. Do a password reset.
          4. make sure your antivirus and firewall not blocking outlook express.
          5. re-install outlook express.
          6. contact virgin tech support.
