The wifi card on that laptop should look like this:hi, i was wondering if anyone cud help...i ve set my girlfriends kids up with wireless thro her router ,,,on this lappy advent 7065 ...u press fn button then f1 button to turn the prism wireless card on ..and every thing was workin fine...been away a cple of week s and now the wireless doesnt work ...went to the control panel and pressed on prism shortcut and a box cums up sayin ...cannot connect are u sure wireless card is inserted....firstly was wonderin where the wireless card was located ?? cud the laptop bein knocked or dropped dislodged it ? or cud it have been disabled in any way ,if so how do i turn it back on ,,,as i ve said fn and f1 doesnt do any thing ??? many thank s in advance ,much appreciated ...

But I do not know to get @ it on that mod, it could have it's own small access hatch to open underneath like mine (with the memory RAM chips).
Or it could even be under the keyboard, but the above picture is what your looking for m8.
When you find it you can as you say, check it's seated properly, if it is & still not showing, then I would be tempted to go back to an earlier restore point, just before you noticed it was not working, that normally sorts it.
Have a look in (control panel's Divice manager) to see if the wifi card is showing & check if it has got a red or yellow "exclamation mark" next to it.
