    Flash video problems

    Hi guys

I have an issue with my PC, playing any Flash video. I have a desktop with dual core 3000+ processor, 2GB RAM, and Nvidia 1GB 9600, so I reckon it should play fine. Also I have 50MB broadband so the connection speed shouldn?t be an issue.

I had lots of issues with IE8, so I have changed to Firefox which works fine but still no Flash video, just tried Google chrome this morning and still no luck with Flash.

The video starts to play for few seconds, them the picture freezes, I can hear the sound, them the video jumps, or runs very fast, or completely stops even for half an hour.

What could be the issue and how can I possibly fix it?

    Many thanks for helping

Try to disable Java add-on from IE8.

To do it, go to "Tools" then select "Manage Add-ons" and "Toolbars and Extention" and find Java Plug-In and disable it. Close the browser then restart it.

I hope it will work for you.

          Btw, for Mozilla Firefox:

          1. In Firefox, go to Tools > Options...
          2. Click to the Content tab
          3. Uncheck "Enable Java"
          4. Close the Options window, restart Firefox, try a video on YouTube.

I have 50MB line, my study is "connected" to my network through set of 200MB home plugs and I get about 2-2500kpbs on avrage.

But i did test my small underpowered notebook here too and it plays flash video fine, so i am assuming the connection should be ok.

Why don't you try different .flv plugins for your browser?
