Uk to USA movie conversion

Hi all, im wondering is there a way that i can convert a uk dvd to play on a usa dvd player? and vice versa. any help is really much appreciated

Try this:

PAL to NTSC Conversion - Digital Video Forums

if your usa dvd player is pal compatible and your uk dvd player is ntsc compatible you can simply use dvd shrink to rip a dvd without doing the above. once you rip it select the region free option and burn again.
