    dots on screen

getting a few dots on screen that scramble the txt a bit its a bit annoying

the dots disapear if i refresh the web page but then come back (it looks a bit like part of the page has crashed)

the longer i stay on a page the worse it gets and then something else happens then too the monitor screen goes black and then comes back on again

im not sure if i have a virus or someone is trying too hack into me or its just a general fault

i have scanned with malware bytes done a boot time scan with Avast and also updated my graphics card none of which have changed anything

    any advice is great thanks

just to add that the problems are getting more severe and the screen keeps on going black every few seconds

i have tried using malware bytes and spybot when in safe mode but the pc shuts down why is this?

because it will run a full scan in normal mode and everything seems ok

would overheating issues cause this problem?

    thanks

hi yes it sounds like overheating, take off side of case and check that your graphics card fan is working also that your cpu fan is working.i would rule out that its the monitor from what you say it has rapidly got worse but deffo check all fans normally if cpu gets too hot it will just shut straight down with heat but graphics card takes longer i would bet its graphics card problem.
