pc startup

when i start my pc, it sarts then a system configuration screen comes on and then stays on. the screen tells me what is fitted inside i.e. sound card,dvd rom,bus cards and that sort of thing. can anyone help please.

at some point say you have run msconfig to clean out your startup just ok it should stop ot its own

How can he do that if (as in his case) windows has not booted and does not want to?
