E-mail settings for addresses ending in @blueyonder.co.uk

Access your e-mail through a Web browser

Before you read on, did you know that you can access your Virgin Media Mail through a Web browser? This means you can send and receive messages through just about any computer with a connection to the Internet and also access other great features that are not available to users of e-mail software. Try it now: go to your Virgin Media Mail online by clicking the Email link in the top-right of virginmedia.com. Manual configuration settings for e-mail

About the change in format of your username

Your e-mail software may previously have been set up to use a computer-generated, non-personalised username such as at003c6326. This username format is now being replaced by the entire e-mail address for the primary alias on each of your mailboxes, e.g., [email protected]. If you use a mailbox that has no aliases assigned to it, the username will remain as the computer-generated version, but will still need to end with the domain name, e.g., [email protected]. If you're not sure whether your account has any aliases assigned to it, log in to My Virgin Media and click Email addresses, usernames and passwords, then click the Details link on the first e-mail account. You will see a list of any aliases on that account under the heading Other addresses mapped to this mailbox.

Note: if you wish to receive e-mail via POP3 on more than one device (e.g. multiple PCs or a PC and a smartphone), enable 'recent:' mode. For more information, see 'How do I receive messages using multiple e-mail clients?'

In order for you to be able to receive mail through e-mail software, your e-mail account has to be enabled for POP access. This feature is enabled by default, but it may be worthwhile to check this to ensure that mail can be received. Need advanced help on configuring e-mail?

If you need help on configuring supported e-mail software, view the relevant help guides in this section. Alternatively, contact our technical support department for assistance. Remember that we can provide assistance only for e-mail software that we support. For more information, see 'Which e-mail clients do Virgin Media support?'. http://help.virginmedia.com/system/s...ice.controller

For me OE is a very meaningful tool. And I opened it some days ago and was unpleasantly surprised reason of all my emails had been lost. I didn't know what to do next. Luckily for me I got an curious application - recover mail outlook express on the Internet. It determined my issue within a minute. Besides I learnt how the utility worked with very large files of dbx format and processed them in a batch mode.
