Windows 7 remote Desktop Connection issue

    hi all,

im having trouble setting up remote desktop connection on windows 7 home.

When going to my remote settings, I only have an option to enable 'allow remote assistance to this computer' available.

I dont have any further options below this that you usually get for example 'dont allow connections to this computer', allow connections from computers running any version of remote desktop' etc....

I believe this is causing my remote desktop connection attempts to fail as i have already troubleshoot windows firewall and my security software.

does anybody know why these settings are not visable and how i would go about resolving this issue???

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks all

      Windows 7 Remote Desktop

      Try the following

In the run box or search as its now known, type
      MSTSC.exe
      The press return

It's the executable for microsoft terminal services client.
