XP PROP SP2

Hi, all.

Maybe I can get some help from the gurus.

I searched for XPSP2 but didn't find what I needed.

I have a legal key installed on my desktop.

I want to install it on my laptop (which will not be online, ever), but can't find a way to pass the "30 days" activation problem. And it really needs the SP2 version.

try activating it over the phone instead of connecting to the internet, i have installed xp on different pc and used the phone to activate the o/s system then you could connect to the net and install sp2.

Hi, thanks for answering.

My prob is not the SP2. If I activate it by phone, I won't be able to use my desktop updates anymore...

Jobela,

Since you are only activating and not updating or connnecting to the net. Use your key to install xp then use this activator once you have the system up and running
