Hardware problem or what?

Here's the config:

Intel i5 750 - 2,6GHz
Asus P7P55D
Kingston DDR3 1333 2GB
Power Color ATI 4670 1GBDDR3
LC Power 600W 12cm fan

I have Windows 7 x64. (Same thing happens on Win XP x64). I, for example, try to run GTA IV and the game loads pretty quick, with low graphics it lets me play for about 5-10 min and with high for about 2 min. Then the game crashes and sometimes I get the BSOD. Running with latest drivers from ATI. What do you think, could it be the RAM problem or the graphic card problem?

Sounds like a cooling issue either processor or graphics card maybe. or it could be PSU - does the GFX card have a extra socket for powering it? what PSU is it? might not be good enough.

Do a RAM check to be sure (there's some good RAM testers on Hiren's BootCD - google for it)

I dont think the GFX card has extra socket for power. It's brand new so the cooler is working flawlessly
(this is the card if you wanna take a look GFX Card)

have you got 1 of the power leads from the PSU plugged into the GFX Card? from that link you sent me, look at pic 4 - it has a socket for one.

Yep I see it, will check when I get home, I'm at work now. I dont know if it would work it that wasn't plugged in, so i'm guessin it is, but I will check it out as soon as I get home. I sure hope that's the problem.....

Also, the standard PSU that came with that case will be really cheap - might be worth investing in a decent PSU if it is a cheap one.

that might fix it, might not - try it, see how it goes.

Hmm I made a mistake with the GFX Card, mine is GFX and doesnt have the PSU connector. So the problem persists....

My collection of BSOD I was searching and all point to faulty RAM. If there's someone who knows about BSOD pls take a look.

Check RAM setting in bios (voltage) is correct.
Also try changing your sata cable from hard drive.

If someone else you know has got similar/compatable RAM then try swapping it about.

If you think its defo the RAM then most places you buy RAM from will test it free of charge.

Other things to try is ensuring BIOS is the most currect version

Thank you all for trying to help...BIOS is up-to-date, RAM 1.5V, everything is ok, but the damn thing just wont work. Im sending it back to where I bought it from, and see if they can figure it out and change components.

Sounds like a compatabilty issue with ram, easily solved by getting other ram.

Yep, it was a buggy RAM. It's replaced now and everything works perfect. Thank you all.
