Start up problem

HI,my laptop has been getting slower stasting up ffor a week or so,now it will only start in Safe mode.I have done a full system scan,nothing found.I also ran c cleaner,vista manager optimizer,still no good.When told to re start after anything it just wont restart,just get a blank screen.Any one got any ideas as to why?.Thanks

Have you solved your problem ?...

You made a complete system scan in safe mode ?.. Or in normal mode ?..
I need more details about how that problem happened, so I can guide you from there.

Sorry about delay in replying but lost internet as well after i posted problem.Up and running again,i had a go at system recovery but its not avaiable in safe mode,i did have files on disc so used f8 key on start up and did factory reset.All ok now,Thanks for your offer of help

I guess Hdd needs to be formatted.do backup the files first.
