this comes up everytime i try to boot up was using xp but run windows 7 for a short time

how do i repair it as the windows disk wont do it from the repair

Am i right in saying it does this under windows XP and Windows 7 (both OS give you BSOD (blue screen of death)

Yes there is is such a thing as "white screen of death". Have a read of this White screen of death - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If you are not savy with computers the easiest solution is to reinstall the system and save loads of time. If you have data worth keeping then connect the drive in an other computer as a slave and take your data out and then do a clean install by formatting and partitioning the hard drive. Good luck!
