    A formating memory stick

My granddaughter has vital course work for up and coming exams stored on a memory stick. Her laptop is asking her to format before use, is there any way she can retrieve her work.If so can you give me step by step instruction.

I had this problem the other week. I put the stick in a different laptop and it read it first time. Try another pc, if that fails there is recovery software in the downloads section which will allow you to retrieve accidentally erased\formatted stuff. Might be worth a go if you can't read it in another pc

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

sounds like its corrupted to me. If it is there wont be an easy way to recover data after a format. You could format and try recovering via a program. Is a actual pen, or adapter with a card (mini sd) If mini sd you could try a differant adapter
