    sd photp card

    hi there, running windows xp, lost all photos and films of my son on camera sd card, download stella photo recover, now its asking me to pay.

    any one no of any othet programes

    bit of a novice

      cheers mate
      tryed that one and it finds noting, yet when i plug my camera back in and start up the stella programe it finds them all.
      any ideas, as i am divorced dad and they are photps and films of my son.
      yes, i should have backed them up

        have u tried taking the card out of the camera putting it into a usb card reader plugging it into computer then running the recovery software.

          Hey there,

          I've done this before as well, I used a program called getdata back it comes in two verison FAT and NTFS. It works wonders got a lot of files that I thougth i lost forever you should try and check it out. I'm pretty sure there is a free version floating around on here somewhere.

              Try Testdisk, I found it to be better than getdataback. It's free, just google it.
