Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 PDF creation cannot continue because Acrobat is not acti

When you print to the Adobe PDF Printer from Internet Explorer 8 on Windows Xp, you see the error message, "Adobe PDF creation cannot continue because Acrobat is not activated. Click retry after activating acrobat to continue printing.". You can print to the Adobe PDF Printer from other applications normally. Tried all methods in Adobe published methods none work. Wish some one can help?
