    laptop problem

    HI my mate has a 4 year old dell lap top and it is now starting to act up. when you switch it on alot of the time the screen boots up , up side down soetimes if you switch it off and on again it sorts its self out but more often than not its 3/4 times of doing this then it sorts its self out has anyone heard of this and can you shed some light on what is happening?

    There may be something switching it around when the screen is closed.

    Try pressing Ctrl+Alt+Up Arrow keys together...if that combination hotkey is set, it should flip it round.

        If it isnt the key problem, try re-installing/updating your drivers.

          Try going to the dell site they have diag software on there that you can down load see is there are hardware issues?
