hi hope someone can help i reinstalled windows xp profesional in my desktop everything went to plan except after windows loaded it tell me to register windows which is fine when i click ok it just freeze n it wont let me in just blank screen thanks

probably it's bad cd with which you installed windows

you can not boot xp with vista you will need a xp boot disc, if you do a search you will find one you can download off the net if you can access another pc, the only problem is that they are mostly floppy discs unless you can find one that you can burn to disc.

Did you make correct configuration in the bios settings? CD/DVD must be in first place in the boot section menu
