    hi,

can you tell me what operating system your using? I had a similar problem once, can't remember how i fixed it but i think it was a registry problem so you should try to download CCleaner and run it.

could be a virus in which case you should run your anti-virus in safe-mode.

    good luck!

        ahh,
For a start that is your biggest problem i would say in general. Vista is a very unstable system. Those who say it isn't don't really stress it much. Windows 7 is a better option, but XP is still the most reliable of the Microsoft family.

Have you tried the anti-virus approach or CClean? You might also want to try spybot search and destroy.

Let me know how it goes.

          tried cclean but no luck
now its coming up, this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. create a association in the set associations control panel.
          what does all this mean.

            Sys restore

Have u tried system restore?....I suggest to try it first if this was working and suddenly stoped...it might be some new installed softwrae or most likly a virus.

                  Hello,

It's more likely a corrupted browser or a virus. Run avast or any anti virus software and reinstall the browser if posible.

Hi mate, take the advice given above.

It sounds to me like a spyware problem. If you don't understand what this is- when you visit unscrupulous websites malicious code and programs can be downloaded to your computer. In its mildest form these programs send back your surfing preferences to the site the code was downloaded from (to be used for marketing information etc.) You may have downloaded 'spyware' and this could be hijacking your browser. In it's worst form it can seriously damage your computer installation.

Firstly, install and run Spybot search & Destroy from HERE Secondly, install a good antivirus programme like ESET NOD32 and keep it running all of the time. Finally install a different browser like Firefox from HERE.

                    Hope this helps
