first of all clear all the crap out u dont want, then run a virus scan with a decent anti-virus ( malwarebytes is good and free ) then clean the registry ( ccleaner is good also free ) also check how much ram u have, if u dont have much its worth investing in another 1-2 gb.

What's your hardware specifications and what windows are you using?

If you are using Windows 7 32/64bit, i would recommend a total of 4GB RAM..though the 32bit version will be using a max of 3.5GB RAM.

Secondly a very decent amount of disk space is also recommended for swap files etc...say 30% free of whatever total disk space you got.

If still slow it could be viruses...try downloading Malwarebytes free version ---> Malwarebytes

Still slow...then a complete backup and windows re-installation is recommended.

          Hope that helps

Try to install ccleaner as gmb45 said... Clear all junk and fix registry. Pls backup you registry before fixing it. It will speed up alot.

If still slow you need more rams. Worst reformat it.

First of all, install Advanced SystemCare 3.
              That excellent tool will remove
all spywares and speed up your system.

Download Revo uninstaller, the free version, then remove all unnecessary software with it, use it in moderate mode, run anti virus programme, Ccleaner, defrag your system with Defragger, and use full optimiser on this great wee tool. Get DTweak free and run this as well.

Clear browsing history. In accessories folder , go to system tools, then access and use the Defragmenter to Defragment files. Then use the Disc Clean up to clean excess. This can be done when nessessary. And if possible add more Ram( memory).
