    pc acer veriton 7700gx

    hi people,i have just been given this pc running on xp but need a password to get in,haven't got a clue can someone please help.

    download backtrack4 then goto youtube and learn how to use it to do it, it's awesome, but not as awesome as Tracy Barlow

          hi people just wondering if there is an easy-er way to get in to this computer i have,not worried about the information on it just want to be able to use it iv tryed to download backtrack 4 but without success cause my internet is pretty crap,any help would be greatly appreciated.

            in that case, just bung windo0ws disc in and reformat.

            personally would look at the files, incase Tracy Barlow is on it.

                it should have a extra partition with the restore disks on it.

                1. Locate the Alt key, to the left of the space bar, and F10, on the top row of keys.
                2. Power the system on.
                3. When the system is powered on, tap the Alt and F10 keys together at the same time when the Acer splash screen appears.
                  It should state "Please wait a moment..." with the Acer logo in the upper left hand corner.
                4. At the eRecovery Management menu it will ask you how to restore.
                5. Click on the restore option you would like to use.

                    hi there need some help i have a laptop hp-dv7 running on vista,tryed to use the recovery manager to reset it but all went wrong now when i try to turn it on it comes up reboot missing press ctrl+alt+canc to reboot but will not do it any help would be appreciated.

                      Google vista erd commander:

                      Download the iso's and burn to disk, they will repair the boot manager as well as giving you access to system restore etc.

                      Well handy to have I use them quite alot now.

                      Hope that helps

                      Oh and if its really gone south you can access the files on the hard disk if you need to back them up.
