HELP NEEDED

Hi All
I have a packard bell 1328/1 Just uprated my computer from xp to windows 7 x 32 ultimate everything ok but I can't get the media bay to work i put the memeory stick in slot at the front and nothing happens is there a fix i have tried packard bell web sight & many others to see if could get any upgrade drivers no luck

Look in Device Manager, see if there's anything not installed.

Then, look for vista versions of the drivers - they will work.

if you use device manager anything thats not installed right click on it choose properties then the driver tab choose update driver or install drivers it will then install drivers for that particular item.

What O/S are you using?

In device manager do you see any "?" devices that are in yellow? If you do you need to find out drivers are needed. Pretty simple go to Downloads | Lavalys.com and download the ultimate version its free trial. Install and look up the physical device when you do and it should show up a bunch of yellow "?" devices get the hardware ID name and stuff and post it here Ill help you get the drivers for it.

Probably a virus/malware. Could also be that you have an illegal version of windows.

I've had that problem for a long time on several versions of Windows, all legit. Might be linked to Microshite having to allow users to select which browser they use. It was about then that I started to have problems.

Turn on automatic updates, this will work
