    opera & torrents??

anyone know how to disable opera from handling torrents as i use a few private sites and it's not recognised as a safe handler.

    Try this Lee

1: Type opera:config in the address bar.
2: Click on the ?BitTorrent? settings. Now all you need to do is to uncheck the box next to ?Enable? and press the ?Save? button.

Or you could download the torrent file to your desktop, right click it, open with, choose program, <choose preferred torrent client>, tick 'always use the selected program to open this type of file', ok. (Win XP)

Next time, it shouldn't associate opera with that file.
