Avira AntiVir reports that BOX_KTR.exe contains recognition pattern of the DR/Kiser.OK dropper during the extraction process from the rar file. Avira states it's a virus or unwanted program, but I was unable to find any helpfull info regarding DR/Kiser.OK by googling. Does anyone know what this is?

i never saw a worst virus ever...
i had avira, avg and many more, and all my pc from my company was infected weekly...
kaspersky is the best...
i have it for 6 monts and i never infected again...

I installed that antivirus on my (very infected) comp and my wifes and cleaned both up very well. No more problems. I think the kisser dropper is the trial rest it searches the net for a new trial licence. If you install the av program and run a scan it will pick it up too and try to clean it (ruined my trial reset) if you don't skip it.

Clean windows? Just remove current antivirus, wipe the registry of this program and get AVG free antivirus along with a second free anti-spyware program like hitman pro 3.5, tweeknow, antimalwarebytes.

Read the reviews and have redundancy. Seems like much more risk being dependent on a tricked version. Obviously the best solution not to waste time is pay the money, get in a volume license deal or find an isp that includes it.

I have used a free trial Karp. and every 30days my friend made for me something abracadabra and get more 30 days with protection but I need to abandon this av not because it was bad just because I can not sett him to not broke some crack for my automotive sw. I am sure that someone with better sw knowlege can do this but not me so I use now Microsoft Essentials Security who is more handle for me but what I sugest to do is try in this place and I am sure you will finde what you need:ChattChitto|Beyond Expectations....

I have try in 2010 to use kaspersky with pacth antiblacklist...but it just 3 monhts and then kaspersky block it all again...so I buy original one for 3 user....i give to my wife and my brother....we all feel the same that we use the best one without worry anymore....it's very cheap I think...
