Good day good people. Approximately 3 days ago, I encountered my very first BSOD. It has happened a dozen or so times now, each time with different messages - something about IRQL, others about memory management, executing a non-executable along with just about everything else.
In the past month, all I've installed onto my PC are a new webcam and a copy of NOD32. I uninstalled these so as to rule out dodgy drivers/software.
I've even gone to the extent of formatting my system and re-installing windows 7 but I still encountered blue screen evn though I hadn't yet installed any new hard/software since the reinstall.
I've ran a memory diagnostic and the memory checks out ok.
I'm also encountering problems where the keyboard sometimes won't work.
Othertimes, my computer will just freeze up on me, leaving me with no choice but to just unplug it.
Another issue is that after I plug it back in again, the computer won't switch on at all unless i leave it for 5 - 10 minutes unplugged.
It's not overheating, theres plenty of room round the back and either side and neither does it feel excessively warm.
I've just downloaded the latest bios updates from Acer but have not yet installed it.
I'm thinking Bios or PSU, ubergeeks amongst us might think different so, please, input away my little soldiers.
All advice / information appreciated and many thanks in advance
