Anyone having problems with yahoo messenger & win7?

I am having a problem with yahoo messenger and windows 7. I can chat using messnger but if i go into a chat room and try and open anything else it freezes up.

I have tried doing the same with msn messenger and no problems. I also updated to the latest version of yahoo but the problem wont go away.

So any ideas why the yahoo chat rooms can freeze it?

sounds like a driver problem

update your sound and graphics drivers

if you have realtek then update it is known to cause problems with it.
