my pc is running slow and having loads of problems with it i,ve downloaded malwarebytes and superantispyware but cannot open any of them, so i can run a scan and see if theres any spyware viruses etc can someone suggest what to do please.

you could try clam portable to scan your pc from a usb drive.

spyware or what ever got on there will stop virus scan an malwarebytes running BUT nice thing with malwarebytes scan install run in safemode restart the pc hit F8 key new screen pop ask login safemode with network login to that one so malwarebytes can update scan delete ever thing it finds

Download "Hiren's Live CD", start the computer from CD-ROM select item Mini-xp-xp and once live will be launched between the various programs will find malwarebytes etc. ... starts scanning

maybe you can take the hard way.
backup your data to external hdd, scan for virus/malware in external hdd using other computer.
and then format and re-install windows
