help please

my pc is playing up running slow and generaly acting funny, i downloaded malwarebytes and superantispyware as reccomended from here but cannot open any of the programes i click on them and nothing happens, can someone help me please.

have you tried booting into safe mode before running them?
to get into safe mode keep pressing F8 whilst the computer is starting up before the windows logo appears when the choice screen appears select start windows in safe mode.

if they still dont work you will want to look for a live cd virus scaner,
try drweblivecd, Dr.Web CureIt! — ??????? ????????? ?????????! ??????? ???????, ?????? ?????????? ?????????!
burn it to cd on another pc, then use the cd to boot the infected one and do a scan, if it finds anything then get rid restart in safemode and run superantispyware and malwarebytes.

My PC did almost the same as Yours.

What i did was:

press contol alt and delete to bring up the task manager.

click on the processes tab

click on the first program in the list

type iex

you should then see iexplore.exe highlighted

click on the end process button

repeat these steps to close all instances of iexplore.exe


When i click on my computer for example, nothing happens, until i do the above steps. then my computer suddenly pops up and everything works fine.

This is just a temp solution, i am still working on a permanent fix.

Try this:

1. Be sure you dont have install the malwarebites
2. Download CCleaner and install it
3. Boot your pc into a safe mode
4. Run CCleaner
5. Boot your pc en normal mode
6. Run Again CCleaner
7. Try again to install malwarebites

As you said your pc has runing slowly!
So i think you should to reinstall your system! or you can use some REGISTRY CLEANER to thin your registry! and unload some useness software!
Does you pc need upgrades? may be you need a new one!

How can anyone possibly diagnose the problem without knowing the Spec of the PC or the operating system being used?
