XP install with no cdrom over network

    Hello,

I have an old Dell that I would like to install XP on but I don't have a cd rom and the bios doesn't boot to a usb device. I've head that it can be done via the bios pxe. Any help would be appreciated.

Quickest way would be to just take the CD drive out of your other PC, jack it onto the IDE interface, install XP then put it back in your PC when finished. I'm not questioning your motives, but it must be a pretty poor spec PC if it has no CD/DVD drive at all.
