I had same problem and had to update the drivers.

when i open my computer the icon isnt there and when i went into the system it is telling me the driver is missing and corrupt code 39

You could use an external cdrom to reboot with.

if you cannot find any problems in the registry then try rolling back the driver in device manager or a system restore prior to the problem starting.

got it fixed had to go on to you tube everything kool cheers everyone .
