i have a asus motherboard with HDMI out which i use on my TV. no problems there but if i want to listen to internet radio i have to have my TV on to listen to it on my Stereo. i could change the audio setting for my board to output it through the soundcard jacks but it means changeing a few settings, i have a Creative external soundcard which works fine on my main computer not my HTPC. on my PC when i turn on the external soundcard on, my onboard sound turns off, and vice versa. i want this setup on my HTPC but the external soundcard wont output sound and on my onboard soundcard i get a memory read error when i shut down.. Both computers run Windows 7.. any ideas..??
