    problem with Ebay green address bar can anybody help?

    hi DK, i have a problem when i try to sign in to ebay, the address bar is greed with a little lock icon on it , and it wont let me sign in , is there any way that i can turn off the green address bar, ? im useing xp, thanks for your time and help , ranger..

    it's meant to be green, it's a HTTPS website - it's meant to be secure. why won't it let you sign in? what error message are you getting? how is it stopping you?

    any sites with https prefix (instead of http) are secure sites - like banks, paypal, etc

      when i put my user ID and password ,, and click enter, it sends me to (internet explorer cannot be found ) blank page, thanks again ,,

        might be something to do with all the ddos attacks on companies who abandonned wikileaks. ebay owns paypal. although im getting on to ebay.co.uk fine from here.

          green address bar problem,

          thanks everybody for your help ,i worked out the problem ,my password was too weak, so i made it longer , and the green address bar let me into ebay , that all the problem was .. thanks again , ranger ,,
