ie not working

hi my freinds ie is not working as in when he opens his downloads file it then comes up with ie is not working ie is checking for solutions ie is restarting,this happens every time3 he opens his downloads file,any help would b greatfull thanx

Mine use to tell me cannot start ie file broken. Best break I ever had.Chrome or Firefox are yonks ahead.

Reset IE -- open IE -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Reset -- this should fix your problems
