hi all we got a acer laptop off the home access about a year ago and i just left it 2 the kids,i have now forgot the parent password and cannot change any settings on it and the free internet has expired,is there anyway i can change the passwords as i cannot connect it 2 my virgin broadband,a lad in work mentioned pressing one of the f keys on boot up but i cant remember which1 it was thanks!!

It should tell you on screen which F-key to press to access the bios. It only appears briefly so turn it on and watch for it. If you don't press it in time then the computer will boot up as normal. In this case, just turn it back off and try again
