If its just a user password and there is no admin password set try this FT

press Ctrl-Alt-Del keys sequence together twice, and you will be shown a Log On to Windows menu which you can specify User Name and Password. In the User Name text box, key in ***8220;Administrator***8221; (without quote) and leave the Password field blank. Then press Enter or click on OK. If there is not password protects the Administrator account, or blank password is set, then you will be able to access the Windows with full administrative privileges as Administrator.

If its an admin appsword or the above don't work have a read here re bootdisk

the most elegant and fast method is to use this: Ophcrack

burn it on a cd and run it, it will take no more than 5 minutes to show you the current passwords set for all users on that windows.
      and it's free!!!

Try using Everest to find if you have up to date drivers ... has helped me out a few times.

Check the Dell web site, and make sure that you are installing the correct drives for it... Since they use different hardware for each computer. I have a Dell, and what was listed for the driver for the WiFi card wasn't it. It wasn't even the WiFi card that was supposed to be in it. Run the Service Code on the bottom of the computer and see what it says and then download the different drivers and see which one works for it.

have you checked in device manager to see if your wi-fi is enabled and working properly
