    processer fault

    hi i have a e6700 processor which did run great with a score of 5.8,but now its 4.5,realy baffled with this,i have took it out and cleaned it and put new paste on it but same 4.5 score??????

      Check bios settings, maybe not set to run at max speed, is processor being detected properly at boot

        i did strip it down and gave every thing a good clean with dust spray but the ram is 4 sticks of 1gig witch is all the same all the base scores r the same but processor is down from 5.8 to 4.5
