    hi,
    does any 1 know a decent program for copying a dvd movie to iso?

    There are many programs out there, some are free, others you have to pay for.
    But you might end up using a couple of programs to do what you want.

    DVD Decrypter is free, but a little dated now. It might not remove the protection from the DVD.

    I use Slysoft AnyDVD which is 32.80 EUR for 1 year, sadly they stopped the lifetime offer for ?30 a while ago. This does come with a 21 day trial period. It's very easy to use as it promves protection on the fly. You would then use something like DVDX to convert to ISO.

    DVDFAB is a popular choice, it's looking around ?23.40 for 1 year.

      DVD Shrink - free, (rips out protection and languages etc) then use
      ImgBurn - also free
