i have brought an dell inspiron with intel i3 and windows7 32bit. i am starting a new carer in vehicle diagnostics but the software i have brought works on windows xp 32bit,
i am having problems runing the software on my computer.
i have tried to put windows xp operating system but seems to take forever, slows the computer down so i have put windows 7 32bit could you advise

if the software only works on xp it obviously wont work on seven.ps did you actually try it on xp.

64 and 32 bit wont effect it in any way

the windows 7 driver signing might though, contact the publisher to see if they have windows 7 drivers

Most vehicle diagnostics can only run from win XP and some runs on MS dos system on a very slow computers, your computer the dell with Intel i3 is a very fast for car diagnostics tools and you may have to ask the software provider for further advice.

What version of Win 7 is it?.. as you may be able to run xp in Virtualization within Win 7

Or try to install/run the software by right clicking on the icon and going to properties then compatiblity tab, then tick the box where it says "run this program in compatibility mode" - and select Win xp
