    blue screen

    been trying 2 format my lap top for few days now and i keep getting error codes stop 0x0000008e (0xc0000005,0x8a5e2ee9,0x881bfafc.oxoooooooo)can ny 1 help me plz .

    when ever i have had this type of error it always seems to be a fault with the installed ram, the solution i find that seams to work is to remove all but one stick of ram then once up and running refit the ram that has been removed.

        iav just removed 1 stick of ram .but still got a error code 0x00000024(0x001902fe,,0xf809c1e4,0xf809bee0,0x808 19a42)

          Google mem test n put it on a USB pen or cd

            turned out to be hard drive

                If your bios is set to boot from cd just put the disk in and boot it will auto start

                If in doubt and the issue is the hard disk use spinrite

                  ye m8 tried that. any 1 no where i can get a Packard Bell Easynote SW51-201 Recovery Disk. see if that does ny thing doin my head in

                    Hi m8t.

                    Turn off your Packard Bell Easynote SW51-201.
                    turn on and while its booting
                    press FN+F10

                    its should rest your oprating system.with out recovery disk.

                      and is he delets recovery partition? still he need to run memtest (in bios set booting from usb)

                        Yea that happened to me, but i had a 1 year warranty so the manufacturers' fixed it for me. Check if you still have warranty. Many laptops have 1 year, but i know some that has 90days.
