internet connection problem

worked yesterday but today its not working, changed a few wires, whats the best way to connect through the internet??

more info needed m8 have you reset your router what type router are the lights on , power dsl internet ??

i think i restarted the modem or router, its a siemens laptop, trying to help a friend, just wont connect to the internet

make sure your wifi is turned on usually has its own switch or use the fn button in blue have you tried to use ethernet cable go to you control panel view network status and tasks what os you using ??
