Constant Crashing - maybe graphics??

Hi guys,

I have a Dell D620 laptop.

It constantly crashes when i turn it on. By the time it gets to the windows loading screen it crashes. Sometimes making a very loud squeeky noise with lines all across the screen!

I have to turn the laptop off and then on again atleast 6 times. When it finally comes on to desktop, it has no issues!

what could be the possibe problem here?

I am running XP btw.

have you recently put new graphics in, or have you dropped it?

your graphic card is out..give it a serch on youtube and you will see exactly the same type of problems
