    GPU for laptop

    Greetings to all,

    I am new on the forum and I have a problem.

    I have laptop HP Compaq nx8220 and GPU has spoiled. I am wondering if anyone knows where to order new GPU (ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600 graphic 64MB)?

          Hello,

          yes GPU is onboard, I am searching for a GPU chip that is working and I would like to switch them with IR rework station.

              Short of buying a spares or repair laptop with the same GPU from the likes of ebay (and that risks the same problem), you will be lucky to find one as they're OEM parts.

              Are you sure it doesn't "just" need a reflow?
