I have tried to unlock and E63-1 (RM-437) with JAF, using data cable, and it finishes successfully. However, when I enter a SIM card belonging to another network than the one of the coded network it says SIM not valid.
          Can you guys help ?
          Thx

I would suggest you try another SIM.

Does it still work with a SIM from the original network? It could be a blocked phone.

Yes, a SIM from the original network (Orange) still works. However, one with Vodafone doesn't.
Should I post the JAF log ? Maybe there's something there that isn't quite right?

I'd try a SIM that you know works first. But there are a few people on here that can check the log for you.

What software version is on the phone?

Well, now I've tried two Vodafone SIMs and for both the same result: SIM not valid.
The original firmware was 400.21.013 and I've flashed to the latest one (according to Navifirm+): 510.21.010.

That's your problem. When you flashed the phone to the latest version, you also updated the protection to SL3. That can't be undone.

Ok, thx for the definitive answer :P
What can I do now ? Are online unlock codes a solution?
                      Looking forward.
