I have recently paid off my remainder of my contract too the tune of 235 pound and now i get letter today saying i need to pay 50 pound in an early termination fee!!!

Anyone got any legal advice on this issue???

so? trust me..ive cancelled LOTS of dds..they call it a direct debit AGREEMENT for a reason.. two parties have to agree to it.
if you cancel..they can not touch it

phoned them this morning and they agreed too waive the 47 pound charge!!!! BUT they said they were sending out a final final revised bill!!!
