    need help thanks
    my son been playing with is phone and now the phone asked for the phone password before u can do any thin now i can not reset the handset phone password any help please

    Try 00000000

    If no joy and you don't mind losing anything not on the SIM or memory card (i.e. Everything) use *2767*3855# this should reset everything to what it was when new!

    If that doesn't work you'll need to go to a dealer...

      Just to correct Jim slightly

      There is another option, but it's not for the faint hearted.

      samfirmware.com has the flashing tools, firmware & instructions for you to update the software on your phone. In effect debranding it, if it's currently got network logo's & links installed, if not then it's just updating it.

      This will remove any password currently stored in the phone, but will wipe all data that's not stored on the SIM or memory card.

      If the handset is branded it may also invalidate any warrenty left. But not sure on this as the firmware available on the site is provided directly by samsung.
