Not opened one of these but I'm guessing that it uses either a mini or micro USB socket for charging...
These sockets are usually SMD which means it is surface mounted to the circuit board. Usually (assuming that the pads on the board are not damaged) it will require reflow soldering with either a hot air or infra-red rework station.
Access to the connections are usually impossible with a soldering iron unless it has a tip size below 0.2mm and can produce in excess of 450 degrees Celsius!
If you can find someone well versed in electronics to do the job expect to pay about 10 to 15 pounds. -
What version is it ? Does it have the mini usb or the straight connector. I have the same problem with the old straight type and it seems to be a common problem. As said above it is surface mounted and the easy fix for mine was to put 2 pieces of cardboard in the space on the inside of the the rear casing that the charging connector sits inside when the case is intact, resulting in the connector being pushed against the board giving a decent connection......Not very technical I know but it workstom tom wont charge i think there is a loose conection in the hole you put the charger in ive tried all other charges and still no luck if i open it up will it just need a bit of solder also if i do open it is there anything i should know? if anyone knows how to fix this problem please let me know and could you let me know how much i will be looking at to fix it thanks.Comment

Actually a lot safer that trying to solder it yourself! Crude bur effective...Comment
