Just had a quick read up. In general it sounds like HTC are trying to knock the S2 off the top spot. But there's some lingering doubts if the 1.5Ghz dual core processor will be able to clearly beat the S2... Mainly due to the Sense UI HTC overlay on top of android. The bigger battery should help it last a day or longer if you're lucky, but I don't think it will surpass the S2 on battery life.

It will be a really good phone. But the higher price (a shade under ?500 or ?40 p/m on contract) might put some people off.
The Beats Audio sounds good, but the test phones were shipped with big external cans, not the smaller in ear buds you get with the phone. It might be wasted unless you're prepared to spend more on a set of Beats cans.

It won't matter which way you jump, you'll not be disappointed. My biggest upset with the S2 is the single external speaker. Great sound, but my last Samsung had stereo speakers built in... I miss my stereo speakers.
