    Samsung phone unlocking?

Anyone know how to unlock a Samshung GT-E1150i thats currently on T-Mobile?

I paid ?5 for one off the internet (Sim Unlocking - Unlock your mobile. Unlock Nokia, unlock samsung, unlock motorola, unlock sony and more)

    They sent me this

Put in the non-accepted Simcard you wish to use and and turn it on.
    Type this code *#9998*3323#

In some newer models you may have to use this code instead #*7337#

Press Exit. You will get a new menu.
    Select Malloc Fail.

The phone will reboot and ask for your PIN if you have one setup already.
Your phone will now be unlocked and will operate with your new sim card.

    .................................................. ................

That doesn't work. When you put the O2 sim card in it asked for a unlock code.

Tried with no sim card and it says "emergency calls only" so won't let you do it

And with the t-mobile sim card in it says "invalid request"

Anyone know how to do it?

    Thanks

Nothing for free! Some codes leave Samsung phones with 15 Zero's for the IMEI.

Take it to an independent dealer.

Before you enter the following code, be aware that it will delete all contacts and other user information (SMS etc) stored on the phone.

            With the SIM removed enter:

            *2767*3855#

Ensure that the battery has a reasonable charge before you use the code.

Not sure if that will work Jim. Got a feeling the * & # functions are disabled on the phone lock entry.

Flashing might be the only DIY option. A shop should be able to reset the code without losing any data.
