    blackberry password

    hi, the daughter has got a bb9900 and somthinks gone on with password which comes on the screen,ive told her to stop putting passwords in as am sure it blocks you out,is there a way of doing a factory reset using my pc?? anyhelp most gratefull!!

    Just keep typing in passwords, after 10 attempts it will ask you to type in blackberry

    This will wipe all private data off the phone & perform a mater reset.

      thanks canker worked a treat,she just lost all numbers and other stuff but just so happy it never locked the phone

        she needs to keep back ups of data via blackberry desktop

          The above solution is one of the solution to recover password. On the other hand their are many other solutions through which we can recover our BB Password without losing our data. Factory reset is one of the best solution if you want to wipe your data.

            nothing i have ever heard of and it is rims policy to protect data by having the wipe of data to prevent it getting into hands of others. this is why the recommend frequent data backups via desk top
