Good afternoon all just after a little advise from the mobile experts on here. I required a new in the box never opened HTC 3D mobile phone the other week, the postman knocked on delivered it to my address which was on the box but a different name, anyway after 3 weeks and no comebacks i wondered if it will work or will be blocked. Its on orange and like i said i have not even opened the box as yet it looks like it is an upgrade for someone and has managed to find its way to me along with a PS3 any advise on how this will be appreciated i am of the understanding that the IMEI number will be blocked is there a way round this thanks.

Stick a sim card in it then your no if its blocked or not .
Second part i no imies can be changed on iphones dont no about other phones.
If it is blocked it can still be used abroad.............I know you believe you understand what you think i said

All IMEI's can be changed regardless of phones. However it carries a 5yr sentence, so I doubt anyone is going to do that for you.

so what happened was it blocked? did you bypass it? did you try to change imei?Comment

No not yet just gonna let the dust settle for another couple of weeks and then try and put an orange sim into it, if its blocked then i will sell it abroad .Comment
